Most pesticide factories will stop working in Nanjing from 17^th May to 22^nd May 2017.

The first Jiangsu Development Conference will be held on 20th May in Nanjin Jiangsu province. This conference will be held every two to three years.

To control air quality, Nanjing government announced that all major chemical, steel factories will be required to reduce 50% of their pollution emission, and some stop or half stop action will be taken. Period will be from 17th May to 22nd May.

As it is one of main pesticide production region, it can affect China’s overall market in May. As we know factories in Jiangning district, Nanjing Chemical Industrial Zone and Gaochun district will all be closed. But most factories said they have already planed this ahead, and this kind of environmental campaign has become a regular action for Chinese pesticide factories, and pesticide factories have gradually adapted to this new business environment.
